HOW TO CONFIGURE SHIPPING METHODS IN BAZAR
The option to configure your own shipping methods is very powerful and allows you to have a fine control of the shipping costs associated with each order. As the prices of the shipments are going to be managed by this fine configuration in the tab of each product, Shipping section, you must put in "shipping cost (for a single item) 0 euros, but you must put there how much a unit weighs.
The first thing you have to do is add your own shipping methods. Click on the "Shipments"(Envío) menu
Click on "Add new"
Choose "Others" and give it a name, for example "Correos (Spain)" or "UPS (European Union)" that describes the carrier and the area to which it is sent.
Then it only remains to add the weight ranges according to the rates of the carrier that you are going to use.
Write the maximum weight in Kg that this transporter admits (suppose, 20 Kg)
And you prepare the first rank.
It is applied when the weight is greater than or equal to (> =) 0 Kg
It is applied when the weight is less than (<) 0.5 Kg (this is an example, use the carrier's ranges)
Then "Add new range", for example:
It is applied when the weight is greater than or equal to (> =) 0.5 Kg
It is applied when the weight is less than (<) 2 Kg (this is an example, use the carrier's ranges)
And so you continue to create ranges to cover all options up to the maximum weight admitted by that carrier.
Then put the prices. If, for example, you are setting up "Correos (Spain)" select Europe and set the prices for each weight range.
Finally, if all your products are going to offer this shipping option, just mark "Mapping this shipment with all the products" and click "Save".
Done!. Now each person who goes to buy your products will have the shipping options that you have added and, depending on the amount that you order, the value of the shipping costs will be updated.
ASSIGN DIFFERENT SHIPPING METHODS TO DIFFERENT PRODUCTS
In this case you must go to the "Shipping" menu and map each shipping method for the products you want.
Choose for each of them "cartografia" (mapping)
You will see for each shipping method the products you have assigned. If you need to change it (remove that shipping method for a product or add it to one that has not been assigned) simply select them. Choose the option "assign" in "Select the action" and press Send.
So easy you have total control over the methods and cost of shipments.
